MAKRAND BHOOT

One of the first LEED Accredited Professional Architects in India, Makrand grew up in tribal/central Bastar. He earned exceptional education in the USA with merit scholarships. The US Government recognized his “Extraordinary Abilities”, and awarded him with EB1a Status ‘Genius’, as recognized by Wikipedia. The UN World Habitat Award was cited to him for his Design-Build, Housing & Mixed Development projects that remain exemplary in combining community, corporate & industry innovations.
Makrand is working across India & North East America providing Consulting & Training, Climate Adaptation & Disaster Resilience services so far in Africa (South/East) China, Colombia, Ecuador,Europe, Haiti, Singapore, United Arab Emirates & United Kingdom.
Makrand has organized/coordinated many conferences/workshops. He has been the Keynote Speaker, Moderator, Panelist at TEDx, UN/World Forums, Festivals, Yoga Mass, Surgeon’s Summit, Tall Buildings Congress CTBUH, IEEE, AIA, APA, CII. In addition to it, he has been featured on BBC, CNN, NPR, ZEE, FM Barcelona, NY Times, NJ Star-Ledger, Chicago Tribune, Industrial Economist, Times of India Indian Express to name a few in Local languages & online media. Lastly, he is a renowned Jury/Guide/Instructor for school/college courses, thesis, Labs, Studios, Competitions.
